Kaydee is pictured above winning 3rd place, from a class of 19 entries. Not bad for a hound dawg, huh?
Kaydee is a remarkable girl!!! I had no intentions of keeping a bitch back from our one and only
breeding. I had intended to Keep Kay's gorgeous brother Floyd. I took Floyd to many training classes, after each class, I
would go home and train Kaydee the same things Floyd and I worked on in class... Though Floyd progressed well, Kaydee blew
him out of the water! This girl is a fast learner, likes to work and loves to please! (Floyd is now neutered and in a pet
home <G>)
At the tender age of 7 months, I took Kaydee to our clubs CGC testing for socialization proposes. Because our club donates
all proceeds of the CGC testing to the Putnam Human Society, I singed Kaydee up!! Kaydee passed all tests with
flying colors!
Kaydee and I went onto formal obedience training in hopes of earning an AKC Obedience title. With just a handful of training
classes, we entered back to back AKC OB shows. Kaydee performed like an old pro, and qualified both days! A few months
later(with NO TRAINING, as Im AM admittedly, the worlds BIGGEST slacker) we entered the show ring for the third time... Again,
Kaydee performed like an old pro and left the class with her AKC CD and a Class placement!
Excellent Work Kay: 3 show, 3 legs and class placements!
Kaydee is only the SECOND Redbone Coonhound to earn an AKC CD and she is the FIRST breed/owner/handled CD Redbone Coonhound!
While not busy training, one can find Miss Kaydee OUT COLD! ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz!!!
